St Abbs House Bed & Breakfast
St
Abbs House was once a fisherman's house and since 2006 it has been run
as a family Bed & Breakfast. In a quiet residential part of Pittenweem
it is situated close to all local amenities and to the popular coastal
walk and Anstruther Golf course, which can bee seen from the end of
the road.
Beautifully restored in 2006 many of the period features have been kept to give a unique feel to the property. St Abbs House is member of the Scottish Tourist Board and has the grading of 3 Stars for Bed & Breakfast. Off street parking is available.
Pittenweem
Pittenweem is one of the few villages in Fife to still have a working
harbour and boats landing their daily catch of fish and a range of shellfish.
It is a wonderful place to walk around and see plenty traditional features
of Scottish history and has some great restaurants, pubs and cafes to
stop off and enjoy along the way. The popular Pittenweem Arts Festival
in the summer is a great attraction and has the village buzzing with
visitors. Anstruther is just 1 mile away with attractions like the Scottish
Fisheries Museum, May Isle trips and local marina, we would be happy
to suggest some great places to eat. St Andrews, the Home of Golf, just
a 15 minute drive away and boasts some of the best beaches in the area
with a lovely town centre full of traditional shops and cafes.
